Prof. Ming Jiang, Dr. Guosong Chen, graduate students Kongchang Wei and Lu Su, attended "Warwick 2012" MacroGroup UK International Conference on Polymer Synthesis & UKPCF International Conference on Polymer Colloids. Prof. Jiang gave a plenary lecture entitled "Hybrid Inclusion Complex (HIC) and its Key Role in Constructing New Polymeric materials". Dr. Chen gave a invited talk on "Self-assembly from Sweets". Kongchang and Lu presented their works in poster section. On July 13th, Warwick Polymer, namely Prof. Rachel O'Reilly and Dr. Remzi Becer, organized a one-day "Warwick-China" symposia. Kongchang and Lu gave presentations on their own research with students from Warwick University and other students from Tsinghua University, USTC, Tongji University and Soochow University. Afterwords, Prof. Jiang and Dr. Chen visited Department of Chemistry, Cambridge University, where Prof. Jiang gave another lecture "NCCM and HIC" invited by Dr. Oren Scherman. Finally, Dr. Chen went back to Warwick University and stayed there for one week for a deep academice exchage, which was sponsored by Journal Grants for International Authors from RSC.
