In July, Prof. Guosong Chen visited several research groups in Europe. In France, she visited Prof. Philippe Compain at Laboratoire de Synthèse Organique et Molécules Bioactives, Université de Strasbourg et CNRS and Prof. Redouane Borsali at CEntre de Recherches sur les MAcromolécules Végétales, CERMAV in Grenoble. She gave two lectures in the two institutes. Then she visited
Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie again. After her lecture, she also had intensive discussions with Prof. Matthias Ballauff and Prof. Yan Lu.
