The 3rd International Conference on Molecular Engineering of Polymers Successfully Concludes (MEP-3, MEP-2026)
On September 18–20, 2026, the 3rd International Conference on Molecular Engineering of Polymers was held in Shanghai. The research group actively participated in this traditional event, which has a history of nearly 10 years (the first MEP conference was held in 2016, and the second in 2018). This was also the first large-scale international academic exchange conference held by the National Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers since the beginning of the 2020s. Professor Guosong Chen helped organize the parallel session on Polymer Synthesis and Characterization and the poster award selection; at the closing ceremony, Professor Chen introduced the poster award and its international jury and presented the awards. In a parallel session, Professor Long Li chaired the invited talks by Professor Takafumi Ueno from Institute of Science Tokyo and Professor Ali Miserez from Nanyang Technological University. Dr. Yu Liu served as a volunteer and provided careful and meticulous venue support.

After the conference, some students from the group accompanied Professor Arthi Jayaraman, a plenary speaker from IBM Consulting, to visit Longhua Temple, discussed progress on simulation data, and tried vegetarian food. It was a perfect day—a “trinity” of hope, spirit, and matter~~
