Prof. Chen attended the 19th Pacific Polymer Conference (PPC-19)
https://main.spsj.or.jp/ppc19/ in Fukuoka, Japan from July 6 to 9, 2025. This prestigious conference, with a long-standing tradition, brings together polymer scientists from Pacific Rim countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Mexico, New Zealand, and Taiwan. Organized in rotation by member nations, Professor Chen previously co-organized this series with Professor Jiang at the 2013 conference in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. China hosted the event in Xiamen in 2017. Following his previous sessions (PPC-15 in Xiamen and PPC-16 in Singapore), Prof. Chen delivered an invited session report for the third time, meeting with several long-time colleagues including Conference Chair Keiji Tanaka. Professor Karen Wooley dedicated significant space in her keynote speech to highlight the work of her former graduate student Su Lu within her research group.
