2025.10.09 Professor Gustavo Fernández from the University of Münster came to the Department of Macromolecular Science at Fudan University for an exchange visit.Furthermore, they presented a report titled Controlled Supramolecular Self-assembly and Function of m-Conjugated Molecular Building Blocks. The report introduced the progress of their team in achieving precise control over supramolecular polymerization, self-classification, and stimulus responses, thereby customizing the functions of various T-conjugated scaffolds through rational molecular design. In addition to addressing the basic concepts of self-assembly - including controlling supramolecular polymerization, crowding effects, and solvent demixing - it also demonstrated the great potential of controlling supramolecular self-assembly as a general strategy for adjusting material properties and functions.
