Ming Jiang graduated from the Chemistry Department at Fudan University, China in 1960. Since then he has served within the Chemistry, Materials and Macromolecular Science Departments at Fudan University as assistant, lecturer, and then as associate professor. He was promoted to professor in 1988. Professor Jiang was also visiting scientist at the University of Liverpool, UK from 1979 to 1981.
Professor Jiang was elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. He has been a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) since 2009. He has published over 220 papers in polymer science . He serves as a board member of Macromolecular Rapid Communications and ?deputy-chief-editor of the Chemical Journal of Chinese Universities. His research is mainly in physical chemistry of polymers and supramolecular chemistry with emphasis on macromolecular self-assembly.

Daoyong Chen was born in Anhui, China, in 1963. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from University of Science and Technology of China in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He gained post PhD studentate in Nanjing University (1994-1997) and University of Science and Technology of Nanjing, and associate professor, subsequently (1997-2000). He is currently a professor at Fudan University.

Ping Yao was born in Jilin, China in 1956. She received her B.Sc. from Guizhou University in 1982 and Ph.D. from Fudan University in 1997. She worked as a teaching assistant in Guizhou Normal University (1982 – 1986), lecturer in Guizhou University (1989 – 1994), visiting scholar in Boston College (1993), lecturer in Fudan University (1997 – 2000), postdoctoral researcher in Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (2000 – 2002), and associate professor in Fudan University (2000 – 2007). She was promoted to professor in Fudan University in 2007.

Dr. Guosong Chen got her BA in Chemistry Department, Nankai University, China. She stayed in the same department and got her Ph. D in 2006, working on supramolecular chemistry. Then she did her postdoc work in Chemistry Department, Iowa State University, which was about synthetic carbohydrate antigens and microarray. In 2009, she joined Prof. Ming Jiang’s group as a lecturer in Department of Macromolecular Science at Fudan University. Then she was promoted to associate professor in Oct. 2011. In 2006, she got Participation Award of 18th Meeting of Nobel Price Winners in Chemistry at Lindau, Germany. Right now, she also teaches three undergraduate courses.
